Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get tested if I live outside Colorado?

Absolutely. We mail remote testing kits nationwide. You perform a fingerstick blood spot or visit a local lab for collection, mail it back, and receive results via our online portal. Consultations are conducted via secure video call.

Which testing option is most accurate—in-person draw or remote kit?

Both are highly accurate when performed correctly. In-person venipuncture may yield slightly larger samples; remote kits are convenient and equally reliable. We provide detailed instructions to ensure proper collection.

How long does an in-person appointment take?

Blood draw and vital collection: 10–15 minutes. Optional consultation with Dr. Bruice or nutritionist: 20–45 minutes. Total: 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?

No, but if your PCP ordered the test, insurance reimbursement is more likely. We can coordinate with your physician if desired.

How do I receive my results?

Results are delivered via secure online portal with detailed breakdown of reactive foods by IgG level (high, moderate, mild). A personalized elimination protocol and nutritionist summary are included. Results consultation is available via phone or video.
